Prince William will carry out two engagements in Cumbria:

Prince William, Patron of Centrepoint and Patron of Mountain Rescue England and Wales, will join young people from Centrepoint on a fell walk. The event will be hosted by Mountain Rescue England and Wales. During the course of the fell walk, The Prince will join the Centrepoint young people and Mountain Rescue team leaders in raising a flag to commemorate Cumbria County Council’s three-year countdown to the London 2012 Olympics.

Prince William, Patron, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, will meet children, their families and carers from the charity WellChild (of which his brother, Prince Harry, is Patron) at an engagement hosted by Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay will hold a reception for The Gathering 2009 at The Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh.
