How often do The Prince and The Duchess travel overseas?
There are normally two official overseas tours each year, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. For example, in 2006 Their Royal Highnesses visited The United States of America, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India and Pakistan on official tours.
These visits are undertaken at the request of the British Government to support its objectives overseas and to promote the United Kingdom abroad.
