Clarence House quote on House of Lords' decision regarding Associated Newspapers
15th June 2007
This week Clarence House welcomed the news that The House of Lords had refused Associated Newspapers' request to appeal the High Court's decision ruling that the Mail on Sunday had breached The Prince of Wales's right to privacy and copyright by publishing an extract from one of his diaries.
A spokesman for The Prince said of the latest ruling: "We were very happy with the original judgement that was made by the Court ordering the return to His Royal Highness of his private journals, and we are pleased with the Lords' decision which means this ruling is upheld."
