Statements by Clarence House 9th/10th December 2010 in response to media inquiries about an attack on Their Royal Highnesses' car during the time of protests against student tuition fees:
"We can confirm that Their Royal Highnesses’ car was attacked by protestors on the way to their engagement at the London Palladium this evening, but Their Royal Highnesses are unharmed."
"Although we are not able to comment on any of the specifics of last night’s incident, Their Royal Highnesses totally understand the difficulties which the police face and are always very grateful to the police for the job they do in often very challenging circumstances."
