On 21st April The Prince of Wales paid a personal tribute to Her Majesty The Queen on the occasion of her 80th birthday. The tribute was broadcast on television and radio.
In the evening, The Prince and The Duchess hosted a dinner for Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family at Kew Palace with a firework display watched by 2000 guests.
