Prince Harry to receive 'Golden Heart' award in Berlin

Prince Harry is to be presented with a ‘Golden Heart’ award at a gala evening for the German charity Ein Herz für Kinder (‘Heart for Children’), in recognition of his charitable and humanitarian work. Prince Harry is Patron of a number of children’s and humanitarian charities, including Sentebale and The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund.
The charitable event, Ein Herz für Kinder, is Germany’s largest television fundraising gala, and the charity has raised over €150 million since it began to collect funds in 1978.
Before receiving the award, Prince Harry will meet young beneficiaries and participants involved with Ein Herz für Kinder.
At the invitation of HM Ambassador in Berlin, Prince Harry will attend a private reception in support of British interests at the Embassy on Saturday 18th December. The Prince will also undertake engagements around the city on Sunday 19th December. Further details will be released in due course.
