This year, The Prince of Wales celebrates 25 years as President of Business in the Community.Business in the Community helps to mobilise business for good by promoting corporate responsibility.
During his Presidency, The Prince has worked continuously with the charity to achieve the following objectives: his environmental concerns; supporting community entrepreneurs; the importance of business leadership; and the quality of a ‘place’ and rural communities.
The Prince of Wales has personally initiated several major programmes including Seeing is Believing, Rural Action, Pro Help, Business Action on Homelessness, Cares and Mosaic.
The charity is currently working with The Prince’s recent START initiative, which will see him embark on a five-day tour of Britain in September (6th-10th) to highlight some of the best examples of people and communities living sustainably.
