Prince William opens the Winnicott Centre
20th September 2006
On 20th September 2006, Prince William opened the refurbished Winnicott Centre for premature babies at St Mary’s Hospital in London. The Winnicott Centre cares for some of the most critically ill babies in the UK and treats more than 300 from across the country each year.
Jack James and his twin brother Thomas were treated at the centre when they were born 15 weeks early premature weighing just over 2lbs each.
