The Prince of Wales, known as The Duke of Rothesay in Scotland, attended the National Police Memorial Day in Glasgow.

His Royal Highness met families and friends of those who have been killed in the line of duty.

The first memorial service took place at St. Paul's Cathedral in 2004.
