The Duchess helps Gloucestershire Women's Institute celebrate 90 years

The Duchess invited 160 members of the Gloucestershire Federation of the Women's Institute to Highgrove to celebrate their 90th anniversary today.
Gloucestershire is a lively Women’s Institute Federation with 152 institutes and around 5,000 members, making it one of the largest Federations. The Duchess is a member of the Tetbury WI.
Women of all ages are offered the chance to learn new skills, listen to excellent speakers and enjoy outings and holidays together, but most importantly they have fun and share friendship with like-minded people.
This year is a special one for the Federationand to celebrate, members of the Federation have already enjoyed trips to Cheltenham Racecourse for Ladies Day and Cirencester Polo.
A number of other events are planned, including a Craft Exhibition to showcase the past 90 years at Tewkesbury Abbey.
The celebrations will culminate with Christmas Concerts at Cheltenham Town Hall, with Aled Jones.
The group toured the home's gardens, created by The Prince, and later had tea in the house in Gloucestershire with The Duchess.
