AUSTRALIA

10th – 15th November 2015: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

5th - 10th November 2012: Longreach, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Tasmania and Canberra. Diamond Jubilee Tour with The Prince of Wales.

BAHRAIN

19th 28th February 2007:  Their Royal Highnesses visited five Gulf States in 10 days. The visit was aimed at strengthening ties with key British allies in the area.

BELGIUM

17th June 2015: Visit with The Prince of Wales to attend the Opening Ceremony of the restored Hougoumont Farm, which played a critical role in the outcome of The Battle of Waterloo.

BOSNIA & HERZOGOVINA:

1st March 2007:  Their Royal Highnesses visited 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in Banja Luka to present traditional leeks for St David's Day and to pay tribute to British troops working to maintain peace and stability in the region.

BRAZIL

11th 15th March 2009:  Protecting the environment featured prominently during Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to Brazil, especially the problem of tropical deforestation. Youth opportunities and entrepreneurship were the themes of a four-day visit that included engagements in Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and the Amazon and aimed to strengthen the United Kingdom’s relationship with Brazil,

BRUNEI 

27th October 5th November 2008:  TRH visited East Asia Japan and Brunei. The visit to Brunei emphasised strong military links with the UK, and included a visit to the Gurkhas of whom His Royal Highness is Colonel-in-Chief, together with educational links and the protection of the Borneo Rainforest in the fight against climate change.

CANADA

18th-21st May 2014: Their Royal Highnesses were invited to visit by the Canadian government and undertook three days of engagements which celebrated Canadian achievements past and future.

20th 23rd May 2012:  At the request of the Canadian government, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visted Canada. The visit celebrated The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and saw Their Royal Highnesses celebrate Victoria Day.

2nd 12th November 2009:  Their Royal Highnesses arrived in St John's, Newfoundland, before travelling to Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa. The theme of the visit to Canada, a Commonwealth Realm, was to pay tribute to the work of the Canadian Armed Services, promote Canadian culture and heritage, and to meet as many Canadians as possible. The Prince and The Duchess also marked Remembrance Day with the Canadian people in Ottawa.

CHILE

8th 11th March 2009:  Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to Chile focused on the key issues of environmental sustainability and climate change, as well as the wider bilateral relationship between the UK and Chile, including military ties.


COLOMBIA

28th October - 2nd November 2014: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Colombia at the request of Her Majesty's Government, following an invitation from President Juan Manuel Santos Calderón of Colombia. Their Royal Highnesses were received by President Santos and the First Lady at an official welcome ceremony at Casa de Nariño, the Presidential Palace in Bogota. President Santos and the First Lady hosted an Official Banquet in honour of The Prince and The Duchess. Other engagements in Bogota focussed on traditional arts and crafts, historical architecture, organic food and wool, trade and investment and a celebration of the British Council's 75th anniversary in Colombia. Their Royal Highnesses also visited Cartagena where they celebrated the cultural diversity and arts traditions in Colombia.

CROATIA

14th – 15th March 2016: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

CZECH REPUBLIC

15th 23rd March 2010:  The British Government asked TRH to officially visit Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic from 15th to 23rd March 2010. The themes of the tour included highlighting co-operation on environmental and heritage protection, the military, faith and minority communities, culture and youth employment.


DENMARK

24th 27th March 2012:  At the British Government's request, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Scandinavia. These visits, to other Monarchies linked by common Royal descent, marked the start of Their Royal Highnesses’ official overseas celebrations of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Their Royal Highnesses were, in each case, guests of the Sovereign Head of State. The visits particularly focused on commercial opportunities for British business to support our economy, military co-operation, environmental sustainability, social cohesion and youth opportunities.

ECUADOR

15th 17th March 2009:  The visit to Ecuador focused on climate change and sustainable development. During their stay in Ecuador The Prince and The Duchess made their first-ever trip to the Galapagos Islands to learn about the outstanding research being done to protect this unique biosphere which serves as an indicator for wider global environmental trends. The visit also marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 50th anniversary of the Galapagos National Park.

EGYPT

20th 24th March 2006:  TRH visited Cairo, Siwa and El Alamein, 20th to 24th March 2006 on the first leg of their overseas tour. TRH visited an animal hospital in Cairo and attended the opening of the British Library in Egypt with Egypt's First Lady, Mrs Suzanne Mubarak.

FRANCE

1st July 2016: With The Prince of Wales, attended the 100th anniversary commemorations of The Battle of The Somme.

19th July 2010:  Their Royal Highnesses visit Fromelles, to pay tribute to the 250 British soldiers from the First World War who were finally interred in a Commonwealth cemetery after being found in a mass grave.

5th-6th June 2014: Their Royal Highnesses visited Normandy, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landings in the Second World War.

GERMANY

29th 30th April 2012:  Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to Germany, the world’s third biggest economy, focused on the themes of global sustainability, social inclusion and long-term Anglo-German partnership and co-operation.

THE HOLY SEE

27th April 2009:  Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to The Holy See included an audience with The Pope Benedict XVI as well as a meeting with the Cardinal Secretary of State to discuss, among other things, climate change and inter-faith understanding.

HUNGARY

INDIA

6th - 14th November 2013
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Dehradun, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kochi.

2nd 5th October 2010:  The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited India on a four-day tour in October. The Prince of Wales opened the Commonwealth Games, representing The Queen at the ceremony. TRH spent time with athletes from a broad cross-section of Commonwealth countries.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

25th May 2016: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

19th – 21st May 2015: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

ITALY

26th 29th April 2009:  Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to Italy focused on the key issue of climate change. In Rome, The Prince of Wales delivered a keynote speech at the Chamber of Deputies, and attended a meeting of Italian business leaders on environmental issues and a reception to celebrate and encourage a “Slow Food” culture of local sourcing and organic production. In Venice, Their Royal Highnesses focused on the important issue of urban regeneration. The Prince attended a seminar about the industrial redevelopment of the lagoon before visiting an example of sensitive housing regeneration in the city. Both Their Royal Highnesses visited the magnificently restored La Fenice Opera House.

JAMAICA

4th 14th March 2008:  TRH visit the Caribbean for an 11-day tour. Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to the Caribbean was aimed at reinforcing Britain’s ties with important Commonwealth countries. It was also aimed at advancing key British Government priorities in the promotion of sustainable development, environmental protection and youth opportunity.

JAPAN

27th October 5th November 2008:  TRH visit East Asia. The visit to Japan celebrated the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom and focused on environmental sustainability, including new technologies, and education and heritage. The programme highlighted the UK’s diverse relationship with Japan, including furthering strong economic links.

JORDAN

11th - 13th March 2013: Official visit with The Prince of Wales at the request of the British Government.  Part of Their Royal Highnesses' overseas tour to the Middle East from 11th - 19th March.

KOSOVO

19th March 2016: Official visit with The Prince of Wales. 

KUWAIT

19th 28th February 2007:  TRH visit five Gulf States in 10 days. The visit was aimed at strengthening ties with key British allies in the area.

MALTA

26th – 28th November 2015: Accompanied The Prince of Wales at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Valletta alongside The Queen and The Duke and Edinburgh. The Duchess of Cornwall also conducted separate engagements during her time in the country. 

MEXICO

2nd - 5th November 2014: Their Royal Highnesses visited Mexico at the request of Her Majesty's Government, following an invitation by President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico. The Prince and The Duchess visited Real del Monte, Mexico City, Campeche and Monterrey.

MONTENEGRO 

18th March 2016: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

MONTSERRAT

4th 14th March 2008:  TRH visit the Caribbean for an 11-day tour. Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to the Caribbean was aimed at reinforcing Britain’s ties with important Commonwealth countries. It was also aimed at advancing key British Government priorities in the promotion of sustainable development, environmental protection and youth opportunity,

MOROCCO

28th March 6th April 2011:  The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Portugal, Spain and Morocco from 28th March to 6th April 2011. The 10-day tour was to promote UK trade.

NEW ZEALAND

4th – 9th November 2015: Official visit with The Prince of Wales.

10th - 16th November 2012: Auckland, Wellington and Canberra. Diamond Jubilee Tour with The Prince of Wales.

PAKISTAN

29th October 3rd November 2006:  TRH visited Islamabad, Pattika, Lahore on 29th October - 3rd November 2006.  The themes of the visit were inter-faith issues; education and youth entrepreneurship; and sustainable development.  As well as the capital, Islamabad, they visited several cities and rural communities throughout the country, including areas affected by the 2005 earthquake.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA

3rd - 5th November 2012: Port Moresby. Diamond Jubilee Tour with The Prince of Wales.

POLAND

SAUDI ARABIA

15th - 17th March 2013: Official visit with The Prince of Wales at the request of the British Government. Visited Riyadh and Jeddah. Part of Their Royal Highnesses' overseas tour to the Middle East from 11th - 19th March.

24th 26th March 2006:  TRH visited Riyadh, 24th to 26th March 2006. The Duchess carried out separate engagements to The Prince, and met some of the Kingdom's Princesses and local women at a women's charity.

SERBIA

16th – 17th March 2016: Official visit with The Prince of Wales. 

SOUTH AFRICA

2nd 9th November 2011:  The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited South Africa and Tanzania from 2nd - 9th November 2011.  The visits focused on trade and investment promotion; employment opportunities and development issues; education and practical support for disadvantaged young people; sustainability issues in the run-up to the Durban Climate Summit later in November 2011; and shared heritage and conservation of traditional livelihoods and wildlife. In Tanzania the Royal visit was part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Independence.

SPAIN

28th March 6th April 2011:  The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Portugal, Spain and Morocco from 28th March to 6th April 2011. The 10-day tour was to promote UK trade.

SRI LANKA

14th - 16th November 2013: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited Sri Lanka for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Colombo. Their Royal Highnesses attended the CHOGM opening ceremony and official dinner. The Prince of Wales was officially represented Her Majesty The Queen at CHOGM.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

17th - 20th March 2015: TRH visited Washington and Louisville. Their Royal Highnesses undertook a broad range of engagements to promote the UK's partnership with the United States in key areas such as sustainability and climate change, creating youth opportunities, encouraging corporate social responsibility and promoting historical and cultural links.

27th 28th January 2007:  TRH visit New York and Philadelphia. The Prince of Wales is awarded the 10th Global Environmental Citizen Award in New York, and in Philadelphia, Their Royal Highnesses visited the Mural Arts Programme and attended a concert at the Academy of Music.

1st 8th November 2005:  First Royal Tour of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. TRH visited New York, Washington D.C., New Orleans and San Francisco.
