Each year, The Duchess invites youngsters to help her decorate the fir tree and join her for lunch, serving sausages and mash, and an array of treats.

Helen & Douglas House is based in Oxford and provides respite support and end-of-life care, while Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps children with serious illnesses.

It is the eighth time children from Helen & Douglas House, of which Her Royal Highness is Patron, have visited Clarence House to take part in The Duchess's yuletide tradition.
