Yesterday, The Prince of Wales starred in an ITV documentary with television presenters Ant and Dec to mark the 40th anniversary of the Prince’s Trust.

The 90 minute special saw Ant and Dec spending time with His Royal Highness, seeing how the charity has changed lives since being set up by The Prince in 1976. The Prince’s Trust has helped 825,000 young people get into jobs, education and training since it began.

The duo gained a close perspective on The Prince's work as they visited courses and Prince’s Trust Centres to get an inside look at the efforts made to help 13 to 30-year-olds. Many of the young people the Prince’s Trust help come from a care background and deal with a range of challenges, such as homelessness, mental health issues, unemployment, difficulties at school and crime.

During the documentary, Ant and Dec also spoke to The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry about The Prince of Wales's work.
