The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Northern Ireland from 21st to 22nd May.

Their Royal Highnesses’ programme will highlight cross-community and cross-border activity, and the strength of Northern Ireland’s business, tourism and cultural sectors. Arriving on the afternoon of Tuesday 21st May, The Prince and The Duchess will attend the Secretary of State’s Garden Party at Castle Coole.

Later that day, Their Royal Highnesses will visit Lisnaskea for a community celebration which will include a Big Lunch. The Big Lunch is about bringing people together to share food and friendship and make new connections. The Duchess of Cornwall has been Patron of The Big Lunch since 2013 and recently attended Commonwealth Big Lunches during her visits to Ghana in November 2018 and Barbados in March 2019.

On Wednesday, Their Royal Highnesses will visit Belfast, County Down and a number of community outreach programmes in County Armagh. His Royal Highness will conclude the visit by hosting a reception and evening of music at the newly reopened Hillsborough Castle.
