Sir Michael Peat retired as Principal Private Secretary to The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall on 30th September after nine years in post. The roles he is taking on include acting as an independent non-executive of Deloitte in the UK, as an adviser to the UK-based asset management firm CQS and as a member of Barclays Wealth’s UK and Ireland Advisory Committee. He will also provide consultancy services to the family interests of Wafic Said and continue to assist The Prince of Wales on financial matters as required.

The Prince of Wales’s new Principal Private Secretary is William Nye.
