The Prince of Wales with young people at the new Prince's Trust centre in Southwark

The Prince of Wales today officially opened the new Prince’s Trust centre in Southwark. The centre will provide a welcoming space for young people to spend time with friends and get support on training and employment.

The new centre features a climbing wall and provides sports and drama workshops. During the visit, His Royal Highness, who founded The Prince’s Trust in 1976, met boxer Nicola Adams and actor Ashley Walters, who was running a drama workshop for young people.

Following this, The Prince joined young people and supporters to discuss the charity’s involvement with preventing youth violent crime.
