The Prince of Wales visits The Royal Ballet School

The Prince of Wales, President of The Royal Ballet, visited The Royal Ballet School’s White Lodge Campus in Richmond Park today. His Royal Highness toured The School’s dance studios and met GCSE Art students who showcased some of their work during HRH’s tour of the school’s academic classrooms.

The Prince was then treated to performances by the school's pupils, some of whom will showcase their work at the Royal Opera House next month.

The School was founded in 1926 by Dame Ninette de Valois, and is one of the world’s greatest centres of classical ballet training. It’s also the official school of both The Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
