The Prince of Wales was joined by a host of the charity's celebrity ambassadors to recognise the extraordinary achievements of young people supported by The Prince’s Trust.
Founded by The Prince of Wales in 1976, the charity helps young people from disadvantaged communities to get their lives back on track, by giving them the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. Since its inception, The Trust has supported more than one million people in the UK.
The awards were hosted by Goodwill Ambassadors Ant and Dec, who were joined by stars from film, television, music and sport to support or present awards to the inspirational young people.
Speaking to the audience at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, The Prince of Wales, President of The Prince’s Trust said: “I have no doubt that you will share my admiration for today’s remarkable winners and will be as impressed as I am by their stories of success. Even after all these years, I never fail to be moved by the way each and every one of them has overcome the most daunting obstacles. I can not tell you how proud it makes me, of all of them.” Read the full speech
