The Prince of Wales meets performers at the Royal Opera House

Today is World Theatre Day and at a time when people cannot go to the theatre, organisations are bringing performances to homes through their online channels.

The Royal Opera House, of which The Prince of Wales is Patron, is showing a performance of 'Peter and The Wolf' by The Royal Ballet through their Facebook and YouTube channels.

The National Theatre is showing some of the most popular National Theatre Live productions on their YouTube channel, every Thursday from 7pm GMT.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), of which The Prince of Wales is President, will show past Shakespeare productions on BBC4 and BBC iPlayer and The RSC have also provided fun educational resources for children to enjoy while having to stay home.
